Head of Middle East construction disputes

Ron has some 30 years’ disputes experience and has worked on a wide range of domestic and international projects in connection with the engineering, construction and rail industries.

Ron has extensive real time project, pre-dispute and dispute management expertise, including mediation, adjudication, arbitration and litigation and Ron is recognised for being client focussed and giving practical, commercial advice whilst at the same time being totally committed and highly tenacious in pursuing his clients’ cause.  

Ron has advised rail clients on heavy and light rail, infrastructure, engineering and commercial disputes starting with the Channel Tunnel back in 1990 and moving on thereafter to disputes, amongst others, on the Jubilee Line Extension, London Underground, mainline Terminals in London, the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, Docklands Light Railway, Croydon Tram Link, Nottingham Light Railway and a number of rail franchises in England and Scotland. In these projects Ron has acted for power, cabling and M&E contractors and main contractors as well as franchise companies and rolling stock manufacturers.

Ron has acted as legal advisor on projects covering all major forms of procurement including EPC, EPIC, DBFO, PPP and partnering.


He is well known in the industry and served us well on a complex dispute matter.
